Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Missouri has a sixty year history of serving the same community that originally came together to open Phelps County Memorial Hospital in 1951. PCRMC is here today because the community worked together, campaigned and donated time and money, all to create a public hospital in Phelps County. In return, PCRMC strives to support and serve the six-county area as it grows and prospers.
We are committed to expanding and improving our services and facilities to offer outstanding patient care. PCRMC is a county-owned, non-tax supported and not-for-profit hospital with a five-member elected board. The hospital is licensed for 242 beds and staffed by more than 1,500 dedicated, caring, qualified employees and 100+ physicians and providers on the medical staff. Without such a valuable resource, PCRMC could not be a successful and respected hospital.
PCRMC measures our patients’ opinion of the quality of customer service we provide to patients and their family members/visitors during their stay with us. There are many important factors that contribute to the patient experience. Our patient satisfaction survey is designed to measure these factors in detail so we can ensure that all of our customer needs are being met during their stay with us. We utilize the services of Press Ganey Associates, the industry’s leader in health care customer satisfaction measurement.
In addition to the hospital survey, a random selection of patients will receive a patient satisfaction survey that is part of an ongoing national initiative by the United States Department of Health and Human Services to measure the quality of care in hospitals. Results from these surveys will be used to help consumers make choices about hospital care and will help hospitals improve the care they provide.
